Alexa: Hi there! How is it going?
Charlie: Hey, Alexa! I'm fine. How was your weekend?
Alexa: It was all right. And yours?
Charlie: It was my brother’s birthday on Saturday, so we had a big party and I stayed overnight. Helped him clean up and then we just hung out on Sunday.
Alexa: Sounds like you had a good time. - Say, do you know if we still have that meeting tomorrow at 3?
Charlie: I think so, why?
Alexa: Marvin said something about having to move it to
Thursday.
Charlie: Okay... Well, that wouldn’t work for me. I’m in Frankfurt on Thursday.
Alexa: And I’ve got Thursday off. You know what, I’ll go and ask him now.
Charlie: Can you keep me posted?
Alexa: Sure thing!
Charlie: Thanks!
Alexa: Hi! Wie geht's?
Charlie: Hey, Alexa! Mir geht's gut. Wie war dein Wochenende?
Alexa: Es war in Ordnung. Und bei dir? (wortw.: Und deins?)
Charlie: Mein Bruder hatte Samstag Geburtstag, deshalb hatten wir eine große Party, und ich bin über Nacht geblieben. Hab ihm beim Aufräumen geholfen, und dann haben wir am Sonntag einfach rumgehangenI.
Alexa: Klingt, als ob du eine gute Zeit hattest. - Sag mal, weißt du, ob wir morgen um drei noch das Treffen haben?
Charlie: Ich glaub schon, warum?
Alexa: Marvin hat was davon gesagt, dass es auf Donnerstag verschoben werden muss.
Charlie: Okay... Das würde bei mir nicht funktionieren. Ich bin Donnerstag in Frankfurt.
Alexa: Und ich hab Donnnerstag frei. Weißt du was, ich geh und frag ihn direkt mal.
Charlie: Kannst du mich auf dem Laufenden halten?
Alexa: Sicher!
Charlie: Danke!
